Actress And Producer Fight Over Pubic Hair Shaving Scene

Sensational actress Baby Blanch, who is playing a lead role in new movie titled “What Sex Can Do” has threatened to take action against controversial movie producer, Socrate Safo, over a scene in the new movie where she was made to shave her pubic hair in front of the camera and to the full glare of the cast and crew present on set, as part of the movie.

According to Baby, she had an opportunity to watch the movie at the editing stage and she didn’t like what she saw as to how her private part has been exposed in the yet to be released movie. The “Hot Fork” actress is therefore insisting that Socrate should take the whole shaving scene from the movie before it is released on the market. “I went to Socrate’s office in New Town to watch some parts of the movie while they were editing, and how I saw me is not good at all for myself and the public. The editing has really changed what we shot on set. It is too much. I told Socrate I don’t agree and I can’t allow this to come out, so he should take that scene out because, I mean, it will tarnish my image”.

Asked whether she was not aware when they shooting, Baby said “Yes I was aware but what we shot is not what I saw and I knew that the movie will go through editing so that if there is any scene the producer or the artiste is not comfortable with it will be taken off, and I am not happy at all with what I saw so I want Socrate to take it off”. As to how far her private part was exposed Blanch said she cannot give a vivid description but “If you ask me to describe it in one word I will say it is very serious. I can’t say which particular part of my body was showing but all I can say is that I am not comfortable with what I saw, and it is not good for the eyes of the public.”

She said Socrate is being reluctant about taking out the scene from the movie because he thinks she is being difficult and is over- dragging issues probably because she was when injured on set Socrate refused to take care of her. But Baby, who twisted her leg on location in the course shooting, said it is not because of that, “I just don’t want to see that shaving scene in the movie”.

Asked what action she would take should Socrate refuse to take out the scene and subsequently releases the movie onto the market, she said “Well I don’t know but I have told him my mind and hope that he will listen and respect my rights. So I am just waiting to see what he will do, whether he will still go ahead and release the movie with all those scenes. Then I will know what to do next”.

I am Very Sorry - Mimi

Musician and former Big Brother Housemate Mimi Divalish, has launched another missile but this time on a sober level. This is over an allegation that her underpants became an object of public view when she, last Wednesday, angrily slammed the premises of Okay FM to demand answers from Abeiku Santana over a gossip on his show which she claimed was directed at injuring her reputation.

She denied showing her bra and pants, contrary to reports that she indeed showed her underpants and bra in the cause of registering her protest. According to Mimi, fans should take the claim with a pinch of salt because it was not the true representation of what really transpired. “I will like to say to my admirers, well wishers, people I inspire and motivate that I am very sorry for all these noise about me. I didn’t show my bra or panty as they claimed, that’s a fat lie. Someone picks on me. Yes I got so furious! I am human and not a robot. I am not justifying what I did, am stating a fact. Criticism should be very constructive and not an attack,” she said in a message sent to News-One on Friday.

Mimi, last Wednesday, angrily stormed Okay Fm, swearing with foul language and threatening to drum some sense into the head of broadcaster Abeiku Santana. She rained insults on anyone who confronted her, demanding Abeiku’s head.

Abeiku, during his ‘Ekwanso Dwodwo’ show, had reported that an unnamed Ghanaian female musician had bought clothes worth GH¢300 on credit from a boutique since the 15th of December last year but had since not paid for the clothes.

Abeiku had continued that this unnamed female musician had even changed her phone number because of the GH¢300 debt and that the boutique from which she credited the clothes bought its stock from China. The allegations were made on the rumors segment of ‘Ekwanso Dwodwo’ and Abeiku had stated that allegations made on that segment were mere rumors that had not been substantiated.

It was not clear if the descriptions Abeiku gave on the show fit Mimi. Moments after the show, Mimi, raging with fury, stormed the station and started running riot claiming she was the Ghanaian female musician Abeiku was referring to.

Mimi started her drama at a time journalists from different media houses had gathered to cover the official announcement of the FAMOUS 5, but she did not bother about their presence. After ranting for some minutes, broadcaster and friend Delores Frempong Manso aka delay of Oman FM and Efia Shwazzniger fame, who apparently drove Mimi to the station, entered the reception and pleaded with her to stop.

Below is as an excerpt of a recording of Mimi’s outbursts:

“Please don’t talk to me I beg you. No one should say anything to me. I don’t want to hear anything in my ears. I have a mind of my own. I am a 28-year-old girl. I have a mind of my own. I have a Masters Degree. I have a Degree. So I can make decisions, no one should talk to me…. GH¢300! Oh my God! I can spend even more than that in a day. And I have run away and I have switched off my phone and changed my number. What the fuck?

“Delay leave me, Delay, Delay, Delay stop, stop, stop, I am not a child. I am grown and none of those seated here is more qualified than me. They sit on radio and say foolish things… Delay stop I am not a kid…..that Abeiku should come out. If I decide to send stories about him to another radio station, would he be able to stay in this town?

“Oh you are my friend and I talk to you every god damn day so if such a story has come up about me, you could have stopped it with your approval. Don’t tell me somebody read it…. I am waiting for the person who read the story to come out. That person should come out and tell me who gave him the news that this person has come to credit GH¢300 China goods and run away. China goods! China. Me wearing China goods? Even the person who read that news was remade in China so how can he say I am wearing China. Stupid man; he should come out and tell me whatever gave him that story. Nkwasiasem.

Next time, he should go to school and learn about journalism, do not get up, go to any radio station, sit there and start talking shit and call yourself a journalist… I do not even wear China panties to wear China dresses.”
